Osmo Polyx¨-Oils are developed from natural oils and waxes to provide the most hardwearing and durable protection for wooden flooring and furniture.Untreated wood in its original form has a light, pale character from its natural ‘raw’ appearance. Sanded wood also has the same effect.
Osmo Polyx¨-Oil 3044 Raw is designed to retain this appearance by using a small amount of white pigments to neutralise the permanent ‘wet-look’ that develops after application of a clear finish
Product based on natural oil and waxOsmo Polyx¨-Oil is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. Natural oils and waxes penetrate deeply into the wood, keeping it elastic and healthy, and preventing it from getting dry and brittle. The wood is allowed to breathe. Moisture can evaporate. Shrinking and swelling are reduced.
Health and environment
Osmo Polyx¨-Oil does not contain biocides nor preservatives. It is safe for man, animal and plant when dry and complies with German DIN 53160 (fast to perspiration and saliva) and EURO-NORM EN 71 (suitable for children’s toys). Test certificates available.
Uses
For all interior wooden floors. Also very well suited for cork and OSB (oriented strandboard) Floors, terracotta and other unglazed tiles. For dark hardwood floors like Jatoba, Meranti, Weng, Merbau, etc. use Osmo Wood Wax Finish No. 1001 Clear Extra Thin (Trial application recommended).
Osmo Polyx¨-Oil can also be used to advantage on wooden furniture, table tops etc.

Drying time: 8-10hrs.
Storage
Can be stored up to 5 years or longer if can is full and tightly closed. If thickened by frost, it will regain its consistency under normal temperatures within 24 – 36 hours.
