Product Description
Advantages
Considerably reduced screwing-in torque and reduced splitting effect. Length specification and manufacturer logo on the head. Higher head traction forces than countersunk head screws. Approved by building authorities. Under licensing number Z-9.1-235. Z-9.1-511 Ð approved by building authorities for fastening rooftop insulation systems
Application
The non-threaded part must completely reach through the upper component. The washer head then pulls the upper component tighter to the lower component with each thread rotation. Advantages of a washer head compared to a countersunk head: Better tightening of connections. Easy bolting of steel parts and sheet metal to wood. Washer head allows higher beam supporting forces. Further advantage: Also narrow and thin wood cross-sections can be bolted with 6 mm ¯ thread
Please note that you will need the Spax T30 bit for use with these screws
