Poplar is lightweight and has relatively straight, closed grain.

The sapwood of Poplar is generally white with a yellowish cast. The heartwood is brown to green with occasional purple mineral streaks

Lengths subject to availability but sold in 300mm increments ie 0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m, 3.0m, 3.3m, 3.6m, 3.9m, 4.2m, 4.5m, 4.8m, 5.1m, 5.4m.

We will send the nearest quantity of timber that we can, but this is dependent on the lengths available at the time of order.

For example if you order 10 metres, we may send, and charge for, 3 lengths at 3.6m, giving you a total of 10.8m.

We will do our best to accommodate any lengths specified. We can’t always guarantee that we can supply requested lengths, but will supply closest length available.
