Envello Board & Batten+

An advanced offering replacing the standard Board & Batten range, to provide a fire rated cladding system.

Envello Board & Batten+ cladding has been tested to BS EN 13501-1 and has a classification of D-s3, d0.

Board & Batten+ is installed in the same way that Board & Batten was, with fixings going through the tongue on the boards, but with one key difference. Due to the new surface layer on Board & Batten+, coloured head screws need to be used through the face of the boards, in areas where the tongue is taken off, instead of the Durafix fixings.

The fire rating on the Shadow Line+ not only covers the cladding boards but also includes the accessory items through a full system build-up, this includes new Reveal Boards, Corner Profiles and Coloured Head Screws.

The formulation of the Shadow Line+ still continues the unique overall Millboard composition of a resin mineral mix, however has now been specially formulated to achieve the fire rating.

Typically 1.53 boards needed per square metre.  For example 10m2 = 10 x 1.53 so 15.3 boards (16 boards needed as only sold in full boards)

25 x 50mm battens should be used to install these boards at 400mm centres (reduced to 300mm in high wind or high footfall areas)

If boards installed vertically, use 5.5 3.0m battens per m2 (ie multiply your m2 by 5.5 for the number of 3.0m battens you need)

If boards installed horizontally, use 2.8 3.0m battens per m2 (ie multiply your m2 by 2.8 for the number of 3.0m battens you need)
