Thermally modified Radiata Pine

Abodo is made from FSC® certified radiata pine clear wood modified in New Zealand with a custom Thermowood schedule at 230 degrees.

Abodo timber has a very attractive grain and finish making a stunning looking finished project.

Standard fixtures & fittings can be used.

Abodo is ideal for Play grade structures such as Tree Houses, Childrens Play Houses and structures used in play areas.  Although Radiata Pine splits, it doesn’t produce hazardous ‘finger trap’ air cracks, so safe for ‘little fingers’

Tip : If you are looking to paint the cladding in your own colour scheme of choice, we recommend priming with Barrettine Clear Universal Wood Preserver.  This product provides a colourless finish as a primer for further overcoating with paint or varnish.

We recommend using Timco Clad screws for installation

Lengths subject to availability but sold in 300mm increments ie 0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m, 3.0m, 3.3m, 3.6m, 3.9m, 4.2m, 4.5m, 4.8m, 5.1m, 5.4m.

We will send the nearest quantity of timber that we can, but this is dependent on the lengths available at the time of order.

For example if you order 100 metres, we may send, and charge for, 26 lengths at 3.9m, giving you a total of 101.4m.

We will do our best to accommodate any lengths specified.

We can’t always guarantee that we can supply requested lengths, but will supply closest length available.

Please list your required lengths in the ‘order notes’ when placing your order

Please note this product is only available for local delivery, or collection. ‘Local Delivery’ is within an approximate 80 mile radius of HP2 4ZB.

This product is not available for delivery via a courier and will not be processed if you select ‘Courier service’ as a delivery method
