The waney edge is on average between 175mm – 225mm in width.
The width can be more or less than this ie as narrow as 100mm and as wide as 300mm.
Waney-edge cladding is a very traditional style of cladding created by overlapping boards sliced straight from the tree.
Each board has one waney edge (with bark on) and one square edge.
The boards are laid to show the waney edge, with an overlap of 40 – 50mm.
Waney-edge boards are supplied green* (wet) with a sawn finish, cut from logs harvested in well-managed native woodlands.

Although this product is sold per metre, it is only available in 3m – 4m lengths depending on what we are able to source at time of order.
