The boards are selected for their higher quality, meaning amongst other things fewer knots.

Due to the high quality, the boards can be left exposed and finished in an Osmo colour/sealant as a feature or covered over with carpet.

Kiln Dried – Moisture content is approx.15% to 18%

Natural Shrinkage
Please be aware that the flooring will shrink laterally by 2.5 – 3% when fitted in a normally centrally heated home.  This is normal and should be considered if flooring is not to be covered and remain visible.

Recommendation  : Please allow 7-10 days to acclimatise to the fixed environment it is going to be laid in !

All sizes listed are finished sizesLengths subject to availability but sold in 300mm increments ie 0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m, 3.0m, 3.3m, 3.6m, 3.9m, 4.2m, 4.5m, 4.8m, 5.1m, 5.4m.

We will send the nearest quantity of timber that we can, but this is dependent on the lengths available at the time of order. For example if you order 10 metres, we may send, and charge for, 3 lengths at 3.6m, giving you a total of 10.8m.

We will do our best to accomodate any lengths specified. We can’t always guarantee that we can supply requested lengths, but will supply closest length available.
