Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax is a blend of natural oils and waxes, designed to protect the end grain of timber.
The wax is absorbed into the timber, so water can no longer move freely in and out of the timber boards.
Controlling the moisture in the timber helps reduce swelling and shrinkage and therefore minimises cracking and end-grain weathering.
Suitable for
Timber decking, cladding, roof timbers and many other external timber end grains. The end grain surface must be clean, dry and frost-free before applying Osmo End Grain Wax. The sealing wax is ready to use and doesn’t require diluting.
Apply to the end grain of decking, cladding or timber roofing of both softwood and hardwood species such as Pine, Larch, Douglas Fir, Spruce, Teak and more.
Apply with a thick general purpose brush, for maximum protection a second application is recommended after the first coat has dried. It will take approximately 3-4 hours to dry.
At low temperatures or high humidity, please allow for extended drying time.Can be stored for up to 5 years when protected from frost.
Available in 375ml cans.
375ml should cover both ends (2 m2) of 250 Decking boards.
