Western Red cedar Fencing & screening slats
Premium range of beautiful slow grown Western Red Cedar Skyline Cedar Slats are perfect for a multitude of landscaping applications. Cedar is lightweight and easy to work with and it’s natural colour variation will add interest to any outdoor area.
Western Red Cedar screening is a versatile garden product that can be used as conventional trellising, screening or panelling, (i.e. for privacy, shade, wheelie bin stores or to fill voids under decks)
Made from 18 x 44mm Grade A Western Red Cedar slats with a 2mm radius on the four corners, they work perfectly with the Durapost Fencing System
They can be used to make a fantastic fence screening area, wheelie bin store or privacy panel amongst many other uses
The panels can be installed horizontally or vertically to suit your individual requirements
To keep the beautiful warm tones of cedar, you will need to coat with a UV protection oil such as Osmo UV-Protection Oil Extra Cedar
As a guide you’ll require 34 pieces of 6ft slats to cover a 6ft (1830mm) x 6ft (1830mm) area (30 horizontal slats and four vertical slats)
We recommend stainless steel countersunk screws or annular ring nails for fixing
