Product Description

The DuraPost® Sleeper T-Post is a cold rolled steel post for fitting small to medium sleeper retainments. This product may be used with most available sleeper sizes, from reclaimed hardwood railway sleepers to sawn green or brown nominal sizes. The T-shaped design provides a perfect method for fixing sleepers to the post. 9mm pre-drilled holes to take SiteMate Flat-Head , Wafer-Head or Hex-Head timber screws.

Fitting Configurations

The DuraPost® Sleeper T-Post may be fitted in many different ways, to best suit your sleeper retainment configuration.

Fixings

The DuraPost® T-Post has 9mm pre-formed holes situated on the front flange. These are spaced 100mm apart starting 50mm from the top, allowing 4 fixings per sleeper (when fitted upright) and 2 fixings per sleeper (when fitted flat). This helps to secure twisted or uneven sleepers

Construction

Constructed from roll-formed Magnelis® pre-galvanised structural steel (HX460LADZMA310). This coating has performed better than hot-dip galvanizing in corrosion tests. Coating service life of 30 to <50 years in a C2 – C3 environment.
